Khair is a project with a goal to end urban homelessness. Khair is a community, connecting donors and people who are in need for help together, with zero money/transactions involved. Also Khair is a job provider for all the homeless people who are in need for our help first, emotionally and materially, before they can get back up on their feet.
Khair is an app where users can add any homeless person with their details (name, picture, phone number, needs and job history) then a pin will be added to the city map on the phone. This pin will be accessible by every user of the app. Donors then can choose any homeless on the map to help, by clicking on the pin and then tick whatever need that homeless person might have. After meeting up with the homeless person, the app will ask for a picture of the object being donated to complete the donation. A pin/profile will be deactivated and replaced with a Crown pin once the homeless person receives a job.
Red Pin: The homeless person has needs that haven’t been met yet
Green Pin: the homeless person has no needs currently
Crown: The homeless person has a job and they are off the streets
